Founded by retired mountaineer Alistair Finch, our brewery is a tribute to the spirit of adventure and a deep respect for nature. "The mountains teach you patience, precision, and the importance of good ingredients," Alistair says, a philosophy that is evident in every beer we produce.

Our journey began in a small garage, with a dream to capture the essence of the mountains in a bottle. We use locally sourced malt and pristine glacial water, creating beers that are as refreshing as a summit sunrise. Our flagship beer, the 'Peak Bagger Pale Ale', was perfected over dozens of test batches, each one meticulously tweaked to achieve the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt sweetness.

At Mountain View Brews, we believe that brewing is both a science and an art. We embrace traditional techniques while constantly experimenting with new hop varieties and yeast strains.
